The Resiliency of the Filipinos             W e all know that our country, the Philippines experience countless calamities. That is because Philippines is a disaster prone country located in the pacific ring of fire. That is the reason why Filipinos become resilient, they tend to overcome these disasters and reduce the risk of calamities.             Because of these disasters the resiliency of Filipinos are becoming stronger, tougher and are always ready because they are used to these calamities, which is I think a good characteristics for everyone and something that we must be proud of. Despite of having these disasters they still manage to live and fight even though their lives are in danger. I noticed that they always make efforts to be alive. And live happily like as if nothing has happened.       I believe in the saying of every Filipino whenever a disaster comes. Like example is when there is a typhoon, they always say "Bagyo ka lang, PINOY kami
A SERIOUS EFFORT               As I finish my first quarter in my 10th grade a lot of things happened. I knew about the things which I thought I already know. Especially in my I.C.T class, which is under by Mrs. Vera Cruz. She is good in teaching us our lessons because she explains it very well and it is indeed very understandable. My  knowledge about the internet became wider when she taught us about it's history, different types of search engines and creating a blog. Thru these experiences we were able to understand more how to work and live in the life in social media.      But in overcoming this challenge I have encountered many problems not only in I.C.T class but in all of the subjects it was a difficult journey as a student because every time we were given a lot of paper works, activities and stuffs. Posting an article in my blog was also a difficult challenge because I have poor skills in writing. especially that this is to be posted on the social media where everyone w

THE STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS 2018  The third State Of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte was held last July 23, 2018  at the Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City. Unlike his previous SONAs  the President’s speech lasted for around 48 minutes. In terms of numbers, the President did not tell a single curse . The President's SONA topics consisted the   Human rights, War on Drugs, Corruption,  Bangsamoro Organic Law   ,  Contractualization, Boracay development, the train Law,the west Philippine sea, Healthcare services, Terrorism and Environmental issues. I tried reading the transcript and seeing how long it was, I opt to look for the highlights of his speech. I didn’t watch the video because I don’t really watch SONA of any of the past president .  I was expecting that he will highlight the government’s accomplishments. I guess he is less interested in that. Again, typical on his speeches is war on drugs, human rights and etc.  One time, I read the news
GOOD NUTRITION IS OUR MISSION Every month of July we are celebrating nutrition month nationwide. This year’s theme is “Ugaliing Magtanim Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin”. this is very important because it focuses on assessing each student and every citizen the importance of proper and adequate nutrition in our body thru planting.         The message of this year’s theme means that we need to learn to plant so that in the future we will get enough nutrition from the crops we will harvest. We should not always rely on our farmers, a day will come that the agricultural sector will become low. So as early as now we should learn to plant and make it a habit, there are many ways on how we can plant a variety of vegetables and fruits; it can be our yard, vacant lot or even the wasted plastic bottles especially when living in a home that is limited to the land space to be used. Is it hard to plant? Even our farmers who plants everyday just to give us food to live doesn’t even complain some
