                            KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL   E very year the province of Ilocos Sur always celebrates the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. This festival commemorates the separation of Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte.Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”.Ilocos Sur is located along the western coast of Northern Luzon.  It is where the UNESCO world heritage site of Vigan City is located.           Vigan and the whole of the province is rich with indigenous cultural heritage that showcase the life, beliefs, traditions and practices of the province’s early inhabitants.the festival is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the province, as well as a tribute to its outstanding citizens. It aims, among others, to underscore the importance of preserving the people’s rich culture and traditions, as well as to promote the province’s products, which are mostly agricultural.Aside from shopping for antiques and furniture

NEW YEAR, NEW ME  Beginning a new year means beginning a new fight.  It means a fresh start, beginning of something new and being able to change something with yourself. Many people promises to do something and decide to complete, follow the task for the next whole year. that is called their new year’s resolution. It is everybody’s tradition in which a person resolves to change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal or otherwise improve their life.  2018 has given me a lot of challenges but these problems hit me hard to face the reality that I must focus on the things which are more important. I also learned that the ones who are supporting you are the ones you must keep and adore because they will be there for you no matter what. Another thing is that  to avoid negativity just ignore all the hates that will enter your life, enjoy and have fun while you’re still young. Change starts with me Change starts with you but it doesn’t start until you do, a quote by Tom Ziglar. Change can often be a difficult thing for everyone to accept. No matter how big or small, sadly many of us fear it. Change occurs in many different forms and is carried out in many different ways. However, just recently, I have come to the realization that change can be the deepest of all subjects.  I want to change the world, but I have no idea how. the only real form of change comes from within. How can you, from a place of hatred and emotional instability, teach love and peace? It just doesn’t work, and it never ever will. That is why as hard as we try to force outer change, we only create ripples on the surface of the much larger lake of global pain.I truly want to change the world  and I need to learn how to love myself first.
